Nestled at 64 Opal Street in Emerald, this family‑friendly caravan village combines classic country hospitality with the modern conveniences you want after a long drive: shaded powered and unpowered sites, ensuited cabins with air‑conditioning, kitchenettes and laundry facilities, a cosy camp kitchen, BBQ space and easy access to town attractions and services like shops, cafes, a golf course and the botanical gardens.

From the park, Emerald Airport (EMD) — the gateway to central Queensland — is just a short trip when it’s time to fly. Located only about 6 km south of the town centre along the Gregory Highway, Emerald Airport is the regional hub for daily domestic services, especially flights to Brisbane and other Australian cities.

Travel to the airport is quick and convenient: whether you choose a brief taxi ride, pick‑up, shuttle, or a hire car, you’ll appreciate the short journey on mostly open rural roads. At the airport, you’ll find efficient check‑in services, comfortable waiting areas and basic amenities for passengers. ✈️

One of Emerald’s architectural highlights is the beautifully preserved Emerald Railway Station.

In Morton Park, you’ll find the world’s largest reproduction of Vincent van Gogh’s famous Sunflowers painting.
